As our first Business Development Manager in Singapore - you will be aiding the growth and development of our client base in the APAC region. Helping to introduce our services to potential clients and explain how we can enhance their sales and marketing strategies. You will play a key part in the strategy and growth as we break into new markets.


What will you be doing?

As a ‘Business Development Manager’ you will be selling the concept of StraightIn and booking appointments for the sales team, with some of your daily tasks including….


  • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers - or new ways of reaching existing markets

  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers

  • Complete full sales cycles - from lead generation to contract signing, you are with them through every stage!

  • Developing relationships with potential clients

  • Managing warm leads passed to you

  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these

  • Thinking strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business

  • Understanding and confidently explaining our products and how they will integrate (or replace) with services they may already be using!

  • ensure staff are on board throughout the organisation, and understand the need for change and what is required of them

Job requirements

Who are you?

Don’t worry if this is all new to you, we can offer you all of the training you need, as long as you have the right attitude and the drive for success….

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience

  • Confidence in every stage of the sales process, and confidence in their ability to close any deal!

  • Background knowledge in marketing products is a huge plus!

  • Fluent in English

  • Proven experience working in a B2B environment

  • You don’t shy away from rejection

  • Confident speaking to everyone and anyone! Whether you’re talking to your teammate or a CEO

  • Adaptable and dynamic
